August updates!

July 2014 Progress

Another month on! Here you can see the scaffolding fully up and works progressing in the boiler room.

Enabling Works

Here you can see work starts on the protection of flooring in the auditorium, ready for the scaffolding...



All good things come to those who wait!

A common challenge in keeping to construction programme is bird nesting season, which we take very seriously and do everything we can to avoid disturbing birds and bats in all types of environments. 

At the CBSO we had a magpie nest with four chicks where we waited patiently (and with bated breath!) for the chicks to fly the nest. They became fairly friendly with the site team as you can see...
